Evangelicals are saved by the ubstitutionary atonement by Grace Through Faith In Christ Alone. We have been given Christ's Righteousness.
The RCC believes he will be saved by attaining his own Righteousness with a leg up given to him by Jesus, Mary, the saints and "grace", faith, merit, the mass, the Eucharist...etc
