(Vatican Radio) Early on Sunday the feast of the Holy Trinity Pope Francis made his first Pastoral visit to a Diocese in Rome. The Parish of Saint Elisabeth and Zechariah gave the Pope a rapturous welcome as he arrived by helicopter to celebrate Mass and administer the Sacrament of Holy Communion to 16 children.
The Pope addressing the children and the congregation present underlined the importance of praying to the Madonna. Mary, the Holy Father said is always in a hurry to help us, teaching us to understand God. She was there, the Pope added, to help her cousin Elizabeth when she was expecting her baby and she is always there when we need her.
The Holy Father also focused on the theme of the Holy Trinity during his Homily telling the parishioners present that The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one. The Father, the Pope explained is the principle figure, he created everything, he created us. Jesus, meanwhile, said Pope Francis is the saviour. He came down to earth to give his life for us. Lastly, observing the importance of the Holy Spirit, the Pope said, he loves us.
The Christian life the Pope continued means talking to this Trinity. The Holy Francis also said it is the he son who walks with us. The Holy Father described how Jesus gives us the strength to carry on our journey even in difficult times; he is never far our side.
After greeting the many parishioners following Mass, the Pope returned to the Vatican by helicopter for the recitation of the Sunday Angelus.
My parents and other relatives are mostly Protestants. I want to go to Rome, too. I’m saving up so Anoreth (my daughter) and I can go, if the stars ever align so that I don’t have a baby and she can get leave.
The Pope addressing the children and the congregation present underlined the importance of praying to the Madonna.
Is Anoreth in the military?
Yes, she’s a gunner in the Coast Guard.
no you don’t see clearly
That is wonderful
She’s an adventurous girl!

Can you elaborate?
The Holy Spirit is important, because he loves us...That's it...Because he loves us...

Mary on the other hand, has taken over the role of the Holy Spirit...In the Catholic religion, Mary is the one you pray to for understanding, comfort and any need you may come in contact with...
Certainly there's a need and a role for a deity to provide those things to the Body of Christ so Mary appears to be the fourth part of the Trinity, delivering those things that only the Trinity can provide, in real Christianity...This theology is anti-bible, anti-Christian, and anti-God...
So in retrospect, those bible only Christians who do not pray to Mary are void of understanding, confort, knowledge and the love of God...M.o
One becomes three, then with Mary that’s four, and lets not forget Satan, that’s five.... Seems like we’re going Hindu.
See related thread:
Pope tells Catholics to shout 'Jesus' instead of 'Francis' (Ecumenical)
Catholics Honor Mary and appreciate the role she had in Jesus’s life.
The Islamists would never honor any female figure in their book of lies and satanism...
Well, except as an example of they can get away with (rape, murder, etc)....
CYCLOPS08...I AGREE!!!
Jesus saves, through Jesus God can help us.
Mary is not a deity, she can’t help anyone.
The Catholic Church is something you don’t understand and I am not going to explain it to you, other than to say I have run in to people that say things about the Catholic Church and they are talking out of their hat out of garbage they have heard and been led to believe is true about the Catholic church. So no, I won’t elaborate, other than to say this, if you want to see the true deep beauty and truth of God, you will find it in the Catholic church
Pay no attention, you see just fine. Any system that makes the way broad must be false. Most of their religious system emanated from the minds of faux-holy men, which has led to incredible unbiblical pomp and ceremony, a religiosity that has just enough truth in it to give the appearance of transcendant light to a spiritually dead, uncritical, and biblically illiterate world, while doing nothing positive for the eternal souls of men. In other words, very little of it, to include this most recent Francine homily, is in accordance with the Bible.
It’s Sunday and I am preparing for church and to spend this Lord’s day with my family, so I’m not arguing doctrine or history with Catholics. I know they won’t like what I said and some will likely call me an ignorant fool. They can bombard me with such vitriol for days, that is fine, much better men than I have felt the wrath of Rome. I don’t say what I say to make them mad or to argue, I say it because it is true and I care about the souls of men who have been taken in by religious hucksters. I say it because I want others to have peace that passes understanding that can only come from resting wholly in Christ, and Christ alone. So, I will never stop urging them to compare what their holy men say with the plain teaching of the Bible. If they ever corrected their core error—how God saves men’s souls—the rest of the system (Mariology, papacy, papal keys, Treasury of Merit, manmade saints, purgatory, priesthood, transubstantiation, the mass, priesthood, rosary, ritual etc) would eventually crumble of its own weight as so much nonsense. Men who are born from above, truly regenerated in their hearts by the Holy Spirit, will eventually see through these things as they grow in grace and understanding of the Word.
I pray even now that just one Roman Catholic would listen to any or all of these sermons on The Gospel.

You are thinking "pray" is synonymous with "worship" or "adore". That's not so. In the Greek, you can see it more clearly: "latria" means worship, "dulia" means honor (as in "honor your father and your mother,") "hyperdulia" is the highest form of "dulia."
"Latria" is offered only to the Supreme Being (God); "dulia" and "hyperdulia" would be different degrees of honor which may (in fact, according to the Commandments, must) be offered to humans worthy of honor.
As St. Paul explained, "Give honor to whom honor is due, custom to whom custom, tribute to whom tribute," etc. (Romans 13:7). That's why it's necessary to recognize different levels of legitimate honor.
Anyone who "adored" Mary would be guilty of wrongful latria: idolatry.
Christians knowledgeable about these distinctions understand that.
St.James tells us (5:16) that “the heartfelt prayer of a good man works very powerfully”, — I think that counts for women too, don’t you? -— and there are many other examples of intercessory prayer being recommended in the New Testament (col. 1:9;2 Thes. 1:11; 2 Thes. 3:1-3).
You shouldn't say things like that, Iscool. It is blasphemous.
