Apparently you think everyone is so stupid that they don’t know a thing about Augustine’s biography. Though he started off as a member of a heretical group, he later rejected them and died the Christian Bishop of Hippo, considered the Doctor of Grace and of the Church by the RCC (but they don’t believe what he has to say on either topic).
No one “called” Augustine on not believing in transubstantiation. In fact, half the time you Catholics are misquoting him to pretend that he did believe in it. If there was some magical supra-authority, above all these Bishops and Popes and “calling” them on their non-Roman theologies, you would have presented that evidence already.
