I’ve seen his son, Ed Young Jr. (Fellowship Church, Dallas) preach a time or two as well — and he also seems quite solid.
Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill, Seattle) is as doctrinally conservative as they come. Haven’t had the opportunity to see him preach — but his books are solid.

I agree on all points. Doctor Young is really a Jesus centered preacher.
You need to do more research on Mark Driscoll. This church is very heavy into the shepherding thing and if you step one inch out of line, you a literally shunned. It’s very close to becoming a cult.
Max Lucado at Oak Hills in San Antonio is very good and very humble as well. Don’t know much about Randy Frazee, his successor as head pastor, but have heard good things.
