Hi Sal, I haven’t been on and am just catching up a bit. It sounds like she is doing ok and I pray that continues. Have you included cooked rice in her food. Mix it with the meat. Puppies are started out with rice and lamb because it’s easier to digest.
My Yorkie loves scrambled eggs. He also hates to take pills and would always spit them out until I put them in the center of a small ball of braunschweiger. I do realize the huge size difference between the two breeds.
Just wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and hoping for good things.
We’ve done the rice and beef/turkey/everything else.
It lasts about 3 meals and she turns up her snoot.
I’m starting to think I’m being suckered...;D
It may be the pills working but she ~seems~ to be feeling better.
I took her out to potty and she felt feisty enough to bounce around and bite the bejeebers out of me while I was sitting and waiting for her to get done and then somehow, she threw a pawful of dirt in my face.
Wretched, worrisome, beloved little beastie.
