man-made teachings = tradition over or in addition to the word of God
It’s the EXACT thing that Jesus blasted the Pharisees over.
And yet the religious and religious leaders of today are just as blind to it as the Pharisees.
When someone’s knee jerk response is to say *That’s not me (us).* it’s an immediate indication that it is.
What they should be saying is *Oh. Could that be me (us)?* and do some serious introspection.
It’s pretty obvious what’s in a person heart by what sets them off and what they get personally defensive about. People most dislike in others what their own faults are.
Amen to that! Instead of speaking Truth and be free of what binds them - they keep piling it on while reinforcing it. Pride has a ugly ending.
