There was no "solo scriptura" principle...as if we are to interpret things solo...

The phrase is "sola scripture" -- as in Scripture alone.
The "alone" component is "Scripture"...NOT the interpreter acting solo.
(And if you don't believe the Holy Spirit can't communicate plainly enough thru various languages of Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic that's your issue)
No Bibles for the first four centuries. How did Christians in those days know what was what?
