So I went to the vigil mass tonight and the local cable news was inside the church with a camera. Several people around me were disturbed by it. I asked an usher why they were there and he said that they came into the church, uninvited, and went up to the pastor with the camera on to ask if they could film. Father told them they could. This news channel is right up there with CNN and MSNBC. It really got under my skin, but I was there to celebrate mass, not fixate on the rude cameraman who chewed gum inside the church.
