It’s hard to guess how the non-biblical searh for colored eggs originated imo.

Easter eggs are a Christian tradition derived from people not eating eggs during Lent. They would have eggs left to eat on Easter, and eventually they started coloring them etc.

Yep. It is also associated with the tradition of Mary Magdalene using an egg to explain the resurrection, which turned blood-red in her hand. The egg is her iconic symbol in some old icons.

Lent is not a Christian celebration; it is the remembrance of the 40 years of Tammuz’ life before he was executed by Shem. Christians do not practice Lent.
