Based on the contentious* presumption that the Gospel of John is presented in chronological order, Jesus is believed by many to have preached over a period of somewhat longer, but not likely much longer, than 2 years.
(* Many scripture scholars believe the Gospel of John was organized thematically, rather than chronologically, although the two possibilities are not inherently mutually exclusive.)
