If they received the sin is theirs and no one else’s.
Precisely. The most fervent atheist can receive communion if they choose. None are turned away if they seek the elements. It is up to the penitent to be in a state of grace, not the priest to determine it.

The sin of unrepentant abortionists is on their heads. If Biden and Pelosi received they are in mortal danger. For these and other plunderers the appearance of propriety is more important than the reality. They would rather burn in hell than lose their earthly status.

Too bad there is not a warning about that before every communion service. It might make all people reexamine their lives. Most good Christians do examine it daily or at least before taking communion.

I think most pro-abortion people don't’ really believe in God, but say they do for political purposes. Others have made up their own version of who God because they don't like who God is; they don't want to submit to His authority. Thus they make themselves a false Idol.

There is. It is in the ritual. It is a dire warning that to partake of communion without first begging forgiveness of one's sins is itself sin. "It is to be entered into reverently, discreetly and in the presence of God." An unclean spirit is an abomination before God. He will not tolerate it.
