No one knows how many African Jews there were. It would be reasonable to say there were some. The Bible is dealing with the history of the nation of Israel as a whole. Even Samson married outside the twelve tribes. His wife was Philistine.
Still it is very ridiculous too discount the message of the movie over actors skin tone. Do we start bashing church Nativity scenes next? Christ came to save all mankind who will believe, call on His name, and obey. It was not just the white folk living in the USA. They hired actors and this movie was not made in the USA. It is also believed that the man who carried Christ cross may have in fact been black. He was from Libya. There was what 1600 years from Abraham to Christ birth? Of course people migrated.
If we take The Bible at is word about The Great Flood we all came from two persons Adam and Noah. If the Great Flood was actually just a regional disaster hitting the Persian Gulf region and Med Sea Basin {known world at that time in history} then we are all still from Adam.
The Ethiopian Eunuch was from Ethiopia. The Cyrenian who carried Jesus cross was from what we now call Libya which at that time was called Carthage. Some people try to say he was a Negro but no one who has the slightest idea who the Carthaginians were.
The Celts such as the Scots, Irish, Welsh, Moors, Berbers, etc. came from Galatia in Turkey. Probably the people who lived in that area were Whiter than they are now.
The Greeks were normally divided between the Ionians and Doric. The Ionians typified by the Athenians typically had olive complexions while the Doric Greeks typified by Sparta were often tall and Blond. The Ionians were probably the earliest inhabitants but then they all spoke Greek.
I recently saw a program where there was a car show in a Middle Eastern country. One of the guys in charge was clearly Semitic. He was tall and had the traditional nose and was wearing the traditional garb. He was as White as just about any European. Now if he had been in the desert for a couple of year living in a tent he just might have been dark.
