Strange. While I agree with him, I don’t agree with his approach.

BTW, the Baptist’s believe in a Pope too. They just believe every little church has one. And they call him “Pastor” instead of “Pope.”

Just as unscriptural......nowhere in the NT is there a man titled as a pastor heading a church. No where. Only use of singular noun “pastor” (Gr: poimen) always refers to and is only used in reference to the Lord Jesus.

In Eph. 4 is is one of the gifts given to men to serve the body of Christ. It is never a title or position. It is plural, not singular. Except referring to Jesus.

For those who proclaim the absolute truth of scripture, there is no doctrine/practice more unscriptural in Christendom than having one man head a local church and call him the “pastor”.

Ok, flame away, all who believe in the local pope.

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, got the tatoo.....
