Right, in fact, we’re commanded to leave even our mothers and fathers to follow Jesus. That’s about as strong a statement as could be made on the subject, since it gives permission for a Christian to ignore one of the ten commandments, if necessary, to serve the Lord.

That’s not saying a Christian can’t choose to follow the Pope, or any other pastor who is serving Christ, but if the Pope or anyone else commands something in opposition to Christ, we have every right to ignore it.

100% correct....that's why, in the 2013 year history of the Catholic Church, it has never taught anything in opposition to the teachings of Christ.....NEVER.
