As I recall it was a Baptist who baptized our Lord, long before Peter journeyed to Rome. Just sayin’. there is a major difference between a Baptist and a Baptizer....a baptizer is one who baptizes...as far as a denomination is concerned, a Baptist follows Mr. Smythe who in 1609 formed the Baptist denomination.
