In the 70’s I remember a Mass where a number of women performed a “liturgical dance”. It was.....to say the least.....ummm......interesting.
From what I see participation at Mass is absolutely plummeting since they re-translated the Missal into incomprehensible arcane language. Many of the wounds are self-inflicted I feel.

There's nothing "incomprehensible" or "arcane" about the new translation. A recent survey showed that most Catholics are quite pleased with it. It's regained much of the reverence that was there initially until liberalism and misinterpretation of Vatican II watered it down during the 70's.

If you want to see a true plummeting in Mass attendance look at the drop from 80-90% Mass attendance with the old Mass before Vatican II to the 20% Mass attendance with the new Mass after Vatican II. Catholic worship has gone off the rails and we need to get it back.
