No. It’s about teams not having to completely re-design an offense to accommodate a great kid, a great athlete, but a lousy passer. Why is this so hard to grasp?
Tim Tebow’s “saga” mostly involves the fact that he sucks as a quarterback. The arm is not there, the mechanics are not there, etc. His leadership ability is off the chart, but we are talking about the NFL, not a charity organization.
Tebow could run the option offense as he did in college. However the QB’s who are doing this successfully now can all throw the ball in the pocket far better than Tebow.
The Broncos didn’t want to build the Offense around Tebow’s skill set, the JEts used him to sell Personal Seat Licenses.
He really doesn’t have the body to be a QB. HE should become an H back and he could have a very good NFL career.
The guy is a physical specimen. Is there any reason he can’t be used as an H-back, or tight end? Does he refuse to play any other position?
Anyone who watched the playoff game on Sunday could see that Denver still had a QB with a suspect arm and an offense specifically designed to cover his shortcomings....only this QB was paid $13 million more. And Manning’s last pass was so weak it was picked off
The NFL is trying to run Tim Tebow out of the league. When the Jax Jaguars refused to even consider Tebow....that told me the NFL is blackball him. Tebow would make the Jags $$....and they are passing on him? Right....
Can you say Mark Sanchez? 66.9 rating.
I know what people said about what the coaches said, and what the films showed, but how much of that is really Tebow and how much is that the offensive line isn't giving him the chance? Anyone could look like they don't have the skills if they're constantly being chased out of the pocket by a line that can't hold.

But he won the Heisman Award.
