The word “false” does not attribute motive unlike the word “lie” which attributes motive: the intent to deceive. Therefore, the word “false” does not “make it personal” whereas the word “lie” does “make it personal.”

The word false does not attribute motive unlike the word lie which attributes motive: the intent to deceive. Therefore, the word false does not make it personal whereas the word lie does make it personal. The remark for which I was rebuked was DIRECTED to the RCC ! It is NOT Personal, unless you took it personally !
