Throw in the tradition that Anna’s house (Mary’s mother, unnamed in Scripture) was picked up by angels and transported from the Middle East to Italy with some stops along the way. This is what passes as tradition equal to Scripture.

I'm not surprised that many of the traditions and myths that form Catholic belief are odd sounding to the readers (their problem not mine) but I'll keep trying to educate them.

The Infancy Gospel of James is recognized as a fraud by Catholic scholars and still it is offered as proof that Joseph had children before those with Mary.

Point out that it is a fraud and the messenger is attacked.
