Religions are indeed creations, however one was established by Jesus, it is one, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. All others were created by men.

Jesus did not come to establish a religion but to fulfill the Law.
Religion is man’s works and efforts to reach God. Jesus came to grant forgiveness for sin that could not be worked away because the wages of sin is death and without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.
Salvation is a gift freely given to all for the asking by the One who paid for it.
