I think we all know what the word hate means, but I think the issue is more, what is the object of this “hate” everyone complains about?

FReepers are accusing other FReepers of bigotry, which is saying they hate Mormons. I don’t think that is a factually true accusation. All of these threads have always been solely in opposition to MormonISM, not Mormon people.

Now, if you want to accuse me of hating MormonISM, then I’ll gladly accept the charge and plead guilty. I think I’ll be in good company, though, because I believe that God Himself hates and detests MormonISM with a passion that far exceeds my own. However, if you are going to accuse me of hating Mormon people, then I’m going to have a big problem with that one. I love Mormon people, which is actually the main reason why I hate MormonISM!

A common tactic of the left is to label opposing view points as hate as a vehicle to silence opposition. This is even more evident given the glaring absence of any meaningful rebuttal or presentation of other information. It is sad to see Freepers stooping to leftist anti-free speech tactics in order to shut down discussion of the issures or articles.
