Thanks. Also, let me say, since I probably haven’t said it in a while, thank you for posting these threads. You get plenty of hateful comments, but I’m sure there are a lot of folks like me who actually enjoy your postings and are glad that you are out there witnessing against these false teachers. We are probably just not as winded up as the objectors, so maybe we’re not as motivated to ring in all the time.
Here’s how I look at the subject. Christians should be polite, but politeness can also be a tactic to avoid distasteful things. Sometimes, the Christian duties we are commanded to do by God can themselves seem distasteful, or difficult to us. So, it can be quite easy to use the excuse of being polite and proper to excuse ourselves from doing something that we really should do.
I think everyone who is Christian, and who objects to your posts, should ask themselves: if one of your loved ones told you they were joining a pseudo-Christian cult like Mormonism, would you be polite, and say nothing, or would you try to warn them of the dangers and convince them to reverse their course?
Now, if you answer that you would warn that loved one, ask yourself, are Christians not commanded to love EVERYONE? Therefore, should we not also warn all of those loved ones away from these damnable cults? Or should we be polite about it so nobody accuses us of bigotry?
