Do you also believe someone is condemned to hell for their beliefs? Ever think that is the foulest thing that a so called Christian can say? [DaveMSmith]
I have news: Luther exaggerated. His logic flawed. He didn't speak 'truth. - what he spoke was heresy. [DaveMSmith, post #292]
So condemning someone for their beliefs is "foul," but DaveMSmith condemning Luther for his alleged heretical beliefs is A-OK???? Or labeling Luther "quite insane" (post #171) must be a "compliment" by comparison, eh???
ALL: Note from Dave the split directives and the "religious license" he gives himself for openly judging others' religious beliefs as he openly condemns Martin Luther.

Luther served God's purpose with breaking from the Catholic Church. It was a political thing as was Calvin. There are 2 elements in the spiritual world... Good and Truth or Love and Wisdom. We receive these in The Will and Understanding. Heat and Light. But we can be in 'winter' where there's light (truth) but no heat - nothing grows. Dormancy.
As for questioning my 'perfect' adherence to my own principles, let's just say the devil made me do it. I have ideals that I strive for but sometimes I respond 'in kind' to make a point.
Faith without works is dead.
