A well-known Bible-code researcher has bad news for Barack Obama, as he claims hidden texts in the Holy Bible indicate Mitt Romney will be America’s next president.

Moshe Aharon Shak, an orthodox Jew and author of “Bible Codes Breakthrough,” has produced a series of videos on YouTube with his modern analysis of Scripture.

For those not familiar with Bible codes, they are said to be secret messages embedded in the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament.

Biggest nonsense. Romney may win but the Bible certainly doesn’t say so. Romney is not even a Christian. Romney won’t even go to Heaven unless he accepts Jesus Christ as his Savior which he has not done.

And just another reason why WorldNutDaily is a complete waste of time.

I remember a decade or so ago they were a reputable news source. Now they've morphed into something of a right-wing Weekly World News. All that's missing is Bat Boy.

You do realize this is Numerology, not Christianity? You might as well practice Astrology, conduct Pagan rituals, or read the chicken bones you cast. Just because they’re using the Bible doesn’t make it Christian.

Acknowledging the incredible, complex, creative hand of God is not paganism. Even the astrological signs paint a picture of the Gospel. That doesn’t mean I believe in horoscopes! I believe in the Word of God as revealed in the Bible. All the other symbolic stuff doesn’t prove anything, it just makes it interesting.

Whatever you want it to say. In that respect, it's just like the Bible Code!

Fair enough. Some people truly believe in the code stuff. It works the same for pretty much any book of similar length.

Big joke. You can get similar results from pretty much any book of the same size. It is just a matter of statistics and the more word/letter combinations possible, the greater the chance of finding patterns. I recall several years back, someone tested this same 'prediction' method with several novels and got the same results.

Yep. If there's any validity to this notion, it ought to be possible to predict (for example) the winner of the 2016 election or for that matter the 2216 election right now, not when there is already a known or at least probable answer to which the "code" can be tailored.

“The basic premise of the Bible is that the Creator decided to communicate with His creation. Why would he put it in code that only a few could figure out?”

EXACTLY! This secret knowledge stuff was supposed to have been purged with the Gnostics!

God wants ALL of us to know Him!! That why He came to Earth; to cut through all the manmade obstructions!

Has this result been cross-checked against the tea leaves, the goat entrails, and the Magic 8-Ball?

Don't forget to check with the Tia Dalma on what dem bones has to say.

But interestingly it works less well, to a statistically significant degree, with arrays of random letters.

You can get similar results from pretty much any book of the same size. It is just a matter of statistics

"Has this result been cross-checked against the tea leaves, the goat entrails, and the Magic 8-Ball?"

The notion that we are somehow facilitated in the forbidden practice of divination by deciphering Biblical test is ridiculous. Every covenant was predicated upon putting complete trust in God. Every covenant essentially says, trust in Me and all will be OK. All attempts at divination is a demonstration that we do not have faith and are more concerned on the now and the immediate next than we are in our relationship with God.

Peace be with you
