I’ve been a faithful member for over 30 years, and never heard of anything like that. Not to worry. Lots of things get said by well-intentioned folk who just don’t have the straight skinny. If I was to guess, I would say that that sort of thing might have started when someone saw a type of kosher mark that they were not familiar with, and someone else made a guess based on a partial understanding of Mormon scripture.
