I was only commenting on how the issue of Mormonism only now matters to people like those at Salon because the Republican nominee is one.

Perhaps, but it has come up before and sadly the liberals always play up those who leave who become athiests. But Conservative publications have posting things against the LDS in the past and have now STOPPED (or nearly so) because of Romney. That smacks of hypocrisy to me for both sides.

Hypocrisy is an issue for the Moslems and the leftwingtards. The Prophet said "kill the hypocrites".

Good to stay away from that stuff.

There's plenty to deal with in any of this.
