I’m not sure I understood where you are coming from in your approach. When a man lays with man as he would with woman, that is an abomination before God. This is in the Bible. The translation from the Greek for the word ‘abomination’ gets a little watered down as it moves to English.
In the NT, Jesus describes in detail precisely what marriage is. Man and woman becoming one flesh.
There is precisely zero in Scripture to support homosexuality. There is zero biologically to support homosexuality as ‘natural’. In point of fact, it is a complete inversion of the Divine Intent. A mockery of the Divine Intent.
If there were a stronger word in English for ‘abomination’, that would be the one we would use. ‘anathema’, perhaps.
Murder, rape, stealing a pack of gum, and sucking a live baby out of a woman’s uterus are all sins. They all keep you out of Heaven.
Here it is then. We completely agree on the issue, so there is no discussion. What I am saying is that whoever controls the language, controls the debate. When you use the word-euphemism "gay" instead of naming the activity by its proper name, you have in my view lost the debate right at the start if only because who would be against "gaiety"? The same goes for using "choice" for abortion. I believe this is a major issue in this culture war.
