You failed to notice that I referred to ‘modern MormonISM’, as in the LDS inc followerrs who are nearly clueless to the historic teachings of their cult, so they are not trying to overthrow the US government as Joey and Bringam did. Are we not trying to reach the alive Mormons? Would we not deem the alive Mormons adherents of ‘modern MormonISM’?

Why would that matter?

Shouldn't they know about ALL of the historic teachings and facts of their church to show how wrong their church is? How much of a cult it is?

And with respect to YOUR characterization of "Modern" Mormonism, how is that characterization of them relevant to the goal of reaching them for Christ?

Once again, why shouldn't they know about all of the history of the Mormon Church?

Isn't informing them about ALL of the garbage in the history of the Mormon church going to free them up more quickly from the dilusion and trap they are in?

Let's say SLC lds repudiates their past, publicly acknowledge who they were. TODAY they still salvation is earned by works not a gift of Grace. They still teach that their jesus is created not eternal. They still teach their god was once a man and that will become gods themselves.
One could just focus on today's mormonism, and know it is blasphemy.
Today's mormonism needs as much exposure as yesterday's.
