mm: And when there’s different *rites* amongst Catholics (generally concerning doctrinal differences that are determined to be critical to salvation according to the CCC or popes) it’s not even an issue because it displays the unity of Catholicism in that all the rites are in communion with each other.

I gave you the example of the EO who don't recognize the supremacy of the pope and the RC pope who claimed that subjection to the pope is critical to salvation.
