Hopefully some family got hold of him and he had a long, happy life.

I lost him about 15 years ago so where ever he ended up he has passed on by now. My daughter came in the house when he first disappeared and I heard her ask her dad “what is the matter with mom”. I didn't realize that I was taking it so hard until she said that. I must have been a wreck!
Since then I have gotten about 8 or 9 Jack Russels, about half of those rescues. We have 3 Jacks now and a Black Mouth Cur.
