Eeek! What about strange people (on FR and elsewhere) who have MICE for pets and name them things like “Mickey” and “Minnie”? Not me! . . but, I’m sure there must be some.
Husband spent a long time freeing a garden snake from the bird netting he’d managed to entangle himself in last year. The snake almost squeezed the tar out of his arm; but he finally got him untangled. - This year, he has grown a lot and comes out and visits my husband when he’s working in the garden, totally unafraid of us.
I give mine *fairly* normal names.
There’s Alice, Iggy, Ozzy, Leon, Spider, Agnes, Leah, Kelly, Ivy, Norma, Peggy, Dixie, Mosby and Brom [aka Bob].
Another snake I’m currently buying is going to be named Boo Radley which is kind of not really “normal”.
