Please answer that question, and not go off on some rant.
However, I will answer these ranting questions.
I know little to nothing of Martin Luther.
Polygamy was not practiced in the the Old Testament, unless you do not understand history and then you would think it was.
As far as God knows, for mormons it would be godS know.
Why do I have to answer your questions? The answer is “no”. I drew an analogy between critics of what early Mormons wrote, with the writings of Martin Luther. The attempt was to show you that one can easily criticize any religion, not necessarily meaning that the modern day practitioners are visited by the sins of their forbearers.
IF we are to hold everyone accountable for the earliest writings of their religion, I respectfully suggest that a Jew, Catholic or Mormon can find serious flaws in the writings and behavior of Martin Luther. It interests me to do so as little as it interests me to worry about intense dissections of Mormon writings.
In summary, I reject the proposition that Mormonism represents a serious threat to traditional Christian religions. Mormons are largely a non factor in America and I see little concern about Mormonism among most traditional Christians.
Further, it seems to me that on a thread that sought to educate me as a Roman Catholic, I am not encountering other RC’s however those not of my religion are lecturing me regarding a non existent threat to Catholicism.
