So what scripture says is not true and doesn’t prove anything? Wow! Just Wow!

1 JOHN 2:12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.

Notice he doesn’t say “will be forgiven if you….”. He says are forgiven. Ephesians 1:7, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Deny what scripture clearly says at you own peril.
