So the RCC can just make stuff up?The Church doesn't just "make stuff up," but that's not the point.
The point is you can no longer, with any kind of integrity, mentally substitute "the Bible" every time you read "thy Word," "God's word," etc..., nor can you dismiss anything as being "from God" just because you can't find it in the Scripture...the Church's teaching about Mary, included.

Interesting how it’ the Muslims, Mormons, and Catholics who don’t rely on scripture but some higher human authority. I’ll stay with the word of the one true God contained in scripture.
