Healing and salvation are part of the same package. The same blood that brought salvation also brought healing. God does not have to do another thing for anyone to be saved it's up to them to receive Jesus as their Lord and saviour just as it's up to you to receive healing. You have to see healing as a finished work of the cross. When Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished", he was not just referring to salvation(redeeming of your spirit), but healing also (1Peter 2:24). Every person who is not saved has salvation waiting on them to receive and every person who needs healing has healing waiting on them to receive. What some people do is let their feeling or senses tell them whether or not they are healed, but the word is the truth.
Someone may not understand how someone can say you are healed while sickness is in their body so let me explain, God counts a thing done when the provision is made. Let's say you come to me hungry and I give you a plate of food, God counts that as me feeding you. But, notice the provision that was made did not take away the hunger and until you receive it you stay hungry. The food is right there ready to be taken in. Let me give you an example using healing as in the case of the 10 lepers in Luke 17:12-14, they cried out "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us" and Jesus said, "Go show yourselves unto the priests" and as they went, they were cleansed. Now let's break this down, they had a need because it says they cried out and Jesus said, "Go show yourselves unto the priests" that was Jesus supplying their need and as they went or as they responded to what was supplied they received their healing. Well, didn't God speak and tell you that by Jesus stripes you were healed. But, notice even though the provision was made there was no change in their bodies until they believed and responded.
Well, how do I respond today to receive my healing someone may ask. Let's look at Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." With your heart you believe and with your mouth you confess. That word salvation does not just refer to being born again, it also means healing in the Greek Concordance. Your mouth plays a major role in you receiving your healing. Proverbs 12:18 says "The tongue of the wise is health." That word health is translated medicine. Your words, God's word on healing in your mouth is how you recover from sickness and disease. Your words has an influence on your body. You return God's word to him and they will accomplish (Isa. 55:11). You believe that by Jesus stripes you are healed and you patiently confess that and you will receive your healing. Hold fast to your confession of faith (Hebrews 10:23).
Words, about the only thing we create, being not much more than vapors and dust ourselves.
What will you create for the creator today?
Reality only looks real because of our viewpoint/perspective. From an eternal viewpoint, this creation is just dust, briefly taking on solid form for a short time. Sure it may last a few trillion billion years, but from interstellar dust it was created and to dust it will return.
We are all but one heartbeat away from stepping out of the temporal into the eternal. What treasure do you seek?
If what you are saying is fact, then why have many of the faith movement people died from cancer and other aliments? Is it a lack of faith? Then what about Lazerth who was stone cold dead that he stinketh was raised from the dead he had no faith he was dead.
Thank you guitarplayer1953 for taking the time to read this. You just can’t say one reason for something happening and then put everyone in that category, there could be a number of reasons, but someones experience don’t change the truth of God’s word. And as far as Lazuras was concerned that was before the cross.
Thank you rawcatslyentist for reading this article.
There are many things in the bible that we will not see this side of heaven. Does God heal? Yes He does I have seen it. Does God heal everyone? No. Why?
Apparently, the apostle Paul lacked faith as well. I guess he didn’t have the newest revelation that the televangelists and money preachers received.
Yep poor Paul lost out to Peter but he got back at him by robbing Peter to pay Paul.
