Okey dokey then...

The wiki article is sourced and foot noted, so despite the location the source material is there for all to see. The early Church fathers wrote of the Nicolaitans as well, men who predate 1600 years ago.

So while I see from some looking around the net that the term has been oddly brought out by some of these new age “Christian” and “Messianic Jewish” movements who supposedly are all about some ideal “pure old school Christianity” to lend some credence to their ideas, the heresy they grab from 2000 years ago is heresy today. And the facts of 2000 years ago, such as who the Nicolaitanes were, are facts today...

If one one to recreate the facts not much more we can do...

They could do the same kind of article on Greek mythology too. Myth is myth.
