From the clips i see it seems that he presents the Bible as the supreme authority on issues, not his church.
Rick’s riding a very fine line by bringing religion into this election in the way he has framed it. The average person is not looking for a preacher Daniell...and that’s how Santorum comes across and a rather self-righteous one at that.
He could have framed his remarks better, in fact much better than pounding on peoples heads as he did. Why not rather tie in the faith with out constitution and hpw our founders honored God in this nation....all people can identify with that to at least some extent.
Instead Rick brow beated any who might think other than he thinks. Heck he even lambasted the Evangelical churches!
I don’t want someone who’s going to thump peoples head with such a self -righteous attitude....rather who can be much more statesman like...which he isn’t. It’s all about being right IMO rather than inviting people to turn to God as this country once knew.
