Sadly, I agree. Rick Santorum has wasted a perfect opportunity to advance the conservative agenda to the national level by over-playing the ‘social’ card when he needed to promote the ‘economic’ card. People are hurting since Bush checked out early, and Obama ransacked and torched the place. We need someone who will re-build, not a preacher.
I mean no disrespect-—I just have a question for Santorum supporters. Do you think Santorum might have been better off to try and win back his Senate seat, like George Allen is doing in Virginia?
I can’t believe you’ve totally swallowed the MSM line with so little resistance. As the primaries have progressed I’ve watched videos of Santorum’s speeches and have seen for myself just how badly the MSM has made his campaign all about morals and values. I’ve seen firsthand the great lengths to which the MSM has gone to marginalize Santorum, and values voters along with him. I watched a speech Santorum gave in Ohio - it was posted on the C-span website - which was all about the economy and manufacturing. Did you notice it?
The MSM wants values voters (i.e. CONSERVATIVES) to go off and sit in a corner wimpering. It sounds like you’re there already.
The Founders are rolling over in their graves witnessing this spineless generation.
Some of the best happened to America when preachers founded Colleges, hospitals etc. If George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were here today they would be derided as “preachers.”
The founders of Harvard, Yale, Princton etc. we ministers and servants of God. Harvard College was founded in “Christi Gloriam” and later decicated “Christo et Ecclesiae.” The founders of Harvard believed that:
All knowledge without Christ was vain.
