Nobody who’s convinced the ship is going to be destroyed any minute is going to be any help bailing.

It put me in high gear, especially when I thought about all the people I know who don't have a clue about the times we live in.

It put me in high gear, especially when I thought about all the people I know who don't have a clue about the times we live in.

I don't find many people interested in trying to preserve a republic they think is about to be made irrelevant.
