As a matter of fact, I detailed exactly why a long time ago. None of the Republicans running are “Great” choices, but Santorum is the worst of the whole lot.

I’ve already said that none of the candidates were perfect, but of all of them, I think Gingrich’s feet could be held to the fire. Santorum is a big liberal, who think’s he’s been called upon from on high, and wants to channel the statist who brought us to civil war, Abe Lincoln.
Santorum will be out of the running before very long anyway, since he’s merely been a spoiler for Romney. If either of those two gets the nod, I’ll be voting 3rd party, the way the Founders intended.

Prove that? Name one state where Santorum took votes from Newt and he would have won? You can’t do it.
