What I see every Sunday in church is a huge emphasis on the Spirit.

HE’S the one being invited to come and join us during the worship service, as if He’s not there anyway. And the focus is on what the Holy Spirit is going to do through us and in us in the way of miracles, especially healing, with a huge does of tongues and prophesying thrown in for good measure.

And the biggest concern I have about the prophesying, is that there is no record being kept of the prophesies and their fulfillment, thus providing no opportunity to weed out the false prophets.

Luke 11:13 according to hyper-pentecostals:

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father the Holy Spirit give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

The hyper-pentacostals seem to seek after signs and wonders more than after God.
