Please do not paint all that claim the name of Luther with the same brush.
I’m not talking about all Lutherans, but the majority of Lutherans in the centers of Lutheranism—Europe and North America—and about Lutheran culture and civilization.
Despite the minority of faithful Lutherans in the LCMS, WELS, and the new ELCA “spin-offs”, as well as the declining number of faithful Lutherans in the ELCA (some of whom I know), what I say about Lutheranism as a culture or civilization is unfortunately true. The same goes for Protestantism in general.
