Yes, apparently it is vain repetition to meditate on the life of Jesus in the Gospels.
To say the prayer Jesus gave us.
And to offer glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It's vain to make something that isn't - to something you want it to be for an agenda. Here, Jesus says it better....
Mark 7:6 He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as It Is Written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
Luke 9:26 "If anyone is ashamed of Me and MY WORDS, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."
This is not for my salvation, I'm good to go at any time with no trepidation, no mystery, no fear! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus, for delivering from the cult of catholicism. And I'm never ashamed of YOUR WORD - I embrace YOUR WORD ALONE!
I'm blessed!
