I think it’s funny when atheists talk about America having a “Christian taliban”, seemingly not realizing that if there truly was one, they would be stoned to death long before they could ever publically spout such nonsense.

At the risk of contradicting myself, Why do we elevate these atheists to be worthy of note and comment?
Leave them in the weeds.

It sounds and smells like the atheist is lugging a load in his Huggies. Like someone said here yesterday, “Without God, there wouldn’t be any atheists.”

This guy is missing the boat entirely. The fact is, this is political, not religious. If Tebow were black, no one would say a thing about it. Black athletes thank God and praise Jesus all the time. But everyone knows they are probably Democrats... so no one says a word.

Tom Brady, after living a full life, passes away. He goes to heaven and meets God. God takes Tom over to a nice, modest little house. A faded New England Patriots flag hangs in the window. “Tom, this will be your home for all eternity”, God tells him. At first Tom is humbled that God would give him his own home in heaven. But then Tom looks across the way and sees a beautiful, shining mansion. A large Tim Tebow jersey hangs on the front door. The place has a huge swimming pool in the shape of a bronco. Crisp, new Denver Bronco flags hand in every window. Taken a little aback, Tom Brady says to God “God, I thank you for my house. But I am an all-pro quarterback, I won 3 super bowls victories and I have broken many records. Why does Tim Tebow get a much bigger house than me?” God looks at Tom and laughs, “Tom, that’s not Tim Tebows house. That’s mine!”.

Tebow doesnt need defending. Like Palin. The left Hates them because their presence amplifies their darkness... If everyone is condemnable then no one can judge you. Not that Tebow or Palin would, but they are the nail that sticks up and must be pounded in.

The author of the article is yet another far-left-winger who obsesses with religion and himself.

A pic from another article he's written:

I think atheist is a misnomer. These people are antitheists. If given power, I have no doubt they would engage in actions equivalent to Mao’s Great Leap forward. Deadlier and more efficient than Taliban.

What the Atheists fail to realize that the yoke of Islam when it comes is going to show them no mercy. Christians at least acknowledge that people have liberty to decide for themselves peacefully. Islam affords no such right.

In fact, Tim Tebow thinks YOU (and most Americans) are going to Hell."

I don't know why the author is bitching... He doesn't have to go. There is another option.....

Tim Tebow can believe anything he wants about “abortion, virtue, and piety,” “the power of the devil, where (sic) the dinosaurs too big for the Ark, or the age of the planet,” or for that matter, where I’m going when I die. As long as he isn’t trying to force me to agree with him, or to harm me for disagreeing, he has exactly nothing in common with the taliban. This is really so obvious that it shouldn’t be in question at all.

As for “Christian taliban” - remember all those Christians flying planes into buildings because of their religion? Oh... never mind.

When will reporters ask Tim to share his views on gay marriage, the subservience of women, the power of the devil, where the dinosaurs too big for the Ark, or the age of the planet?

Answer: when reports ask atheists the statistical probabilities involved in "316" showing up so many times in that last game. And whether they think Tebow either "engineered" them all by himself, or that it's just an odds-defying coincidence.

I may be a squish Episcopalian, but it's pretty clear to me that Someone was sending a message with that.

I believe it was back in the mid 80’s a call came in to the “Bible Answer Man” told him: “If Jesus Christ was standing in front of me, I would spit in His face.”

The “Bible Answer Man” was very kind and said: “It has been done before.”

After I thought on that for some time, I realized it would never be done again. They [and we] mocked, railed on Him, and crucified Him; but it will never be done again.

“He was dead, but now He is alive forevermore!”

“I am He that liveth, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and I have the keys of hell and death.” (Revelation 1:18)

This is another example of why Tebow`s open expressions of faith are causing the godless types discomfort. If they`re so firm and confident in their disbelief in God, why wouldn`t they be laughing all this off as an exercise in futility, since — in their opinion — God doesn`t exist anyway?

But the fact is, this young man is an openly devout Christian.. offering prayer at any given time, even before 90,000 onlookers and on national TV.. and great numbers of Americans respond positively. And that threatens their agenda of destroying this nation`s Judeo-Christian underpinnings.

And even deeper than that, as the atheists` anger at Tebow rises, and he gets under their collective skin even deeper, I believe he`s starting to sow doubts among some and causing them to reexamine their core belief system... because they`re just... not... quite... sure.

So the attacks on Tebow grow shriller. He needs to be very careful about his actions and with whom he associates, because the forces of the secularist dark side see him as an enemy who must be stopped. If the secularists can`t find dirt on him, they`ll create it.
