Go back and read your post in which you say that within two generations Noah was the most evil of men and started the Babylonian empire. I know it was a mistake in your haste to get down the anti Catholic diatribe.
Again, again and again, Nimrod’s example is important because he was inauthentic. Not real, a fake, an imposter.
Jesus and His mother are the true King and Queen Mother and the worship of Catholics is true worship of the King and veneration of His mother.
I know well the passages you gave. They support exactly what I said, that the Bible contains what we need to know the truth, but it does not contain everything.
And, I note, as usual, the quotes given ignore that the Church is the pillar and bulwark of truth.
Protestants don’t like that passage and never, ever quote it.
The true history of the Church is ugly? We don’t agree on that obviously, though I do admit that there were ugly things done by sinful people. Please, feel free to point out to me all the perfect “churches of one”.
Again, what you write is your opinion of what Scripture means, especially since your opinion has been formed by the opinions of others. No one, not a one, comes to an understanding of Scripture on their own. What we do is read Scripture in light of what we have learned from others and either accept or reject it.
Mary as the woman in Revelation is but one of the layers of meaning within Scripture. I accept that you reject that, but I reject that you are an infallible source of Scripture interpretation, or know all there is to know about it.
Oooops. You were right. Corrected above. I didnt even notice that. No wonder you were confused. Sorry bout that.
Nonesense. Not once did Jesus or any of the apostles indicate anything even near that. Besides, the queen is always the Kings wife if he is married.
>>And, I note, as usual, the quotes given ignore that the Church is the pillar and bulwark of truth.<<
Pillar and bulwark = upholder of truth already established in scripture. The CC has fallen terribly from that task.
>>No one, not a one, comes to an understanding of Scripture on their own.<<
Do you understand at all the indwelling of the Holy Spirit?
