That said, IMHO, the Mormon church may not honor Christ, but, through it and others, we sinners can find our way to Him. Then it will be after sloughing thru the Slough of Despond and going Onward...
Christian, an everyman character, is the protagonist of the allegory, which centers itself in his journey from his hometown, the "City of Destruction" ("this world"), to the "Celestial City" ("that which is to come": Heaven) atop Mt. Zion.
HMmm... MORMONism has strangely incorporated these concepts...)

Great graphic...ROTFL!Well, the spousal unit was at her grandmother's house, the kids were visiting friends, and I was left alone with my Fireworks and Flash programs. I had quoted The History of the Church several times to no avail.

One is “Sacrament Meeting” - the main service where ‘talks’ are given by the mebership rather than a sermon ...Oh NO!!!
Yesterday; I was the second of four that did exactly that; telling how and when we accepted the Gift of Salvation.
I referenced the following Scripture:
James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

thanks for the clarification on the different languages, but same Catholic Church.
the Church did not need to dogmatically declare the canon before Trent, since there was no controversy. only after some reformers questioned some books in the OT, did Trent formally declare once and for all the canon. up until then, the Vulgate and it’s 73 books was the Bible for around 1,200 years.
