The word 'poor' occurs 205 times in the kjv
Widow = 55 times
Give - 880 times.
Mar 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Did Jesus make a mistake her in not demanding that the poor work to earn the wealth? Better check out the use of poor in the bible eh drift? The destitute drift - those incapable of work or who's work was insufficient to provide for themselves or families.
