Glad to hear it, since it has been made evident on this thread and others that many do not follow their own church in holding the Apostle Paul to such a level of esteem.
What many do not understand is that Paul saved the fledgling Church by peddling it to the Greeks. Paul was all things to all men and convinced much of the world to accept the new Faith.
I've seen FReepers use the term "Paulician" derogatorily more times than I can count. I've even seen the particularly risible "Paulistinians" more than once.
Google is your friend. Check out first millennium Paulian heresies for fun and amusement. That is to what we refer.
Now, who would do such a thing, lol?
I refer with derision to those to whom proclaim the "gospel of Paul" as opposed to the Gospel of Christ. We believe that Paul did not proclaim a different Gospel. I have been sternly instructed that Paul is the successor of Christ and has more truth in his epistles than in the Gospels. I have been sternly instructed that Paul is the only instructor to the Gentiles and Jesus was only to the Jews.
That is the message that all true Christians will reject.
A very fine line has been being ridden on FR for years, deriding Protestants for relying upon the Pauline Epistles a great deal, as if there is anything remiss in so doing. That fine line has been breached on occasion, one of which is admitted and documented, going into the outright heresy of rejecting the Apostle Paul, which is what was referred to upthread and for which I have received so many false accusations.
It appears that all the hatred endured has paid off, with retraction by all responsible parties present, and so I thank you.
Case closed. Merry Christmas!

Same here. Agreed.
