Well, you'll still need to keep your eyes peeled in the future, because you'll see Protestants derided as "Paulicians," and you'll see the books of the Bible written by Paul denigrated and devalued. Judith Anne may have been the most egregious example, however she is not alone as you both now contend.
It's all very odd to me. It's not as if the Apostle Paul wasn't Apostle to the Gentiles or anything. The whole thing seems rather contrived, and yes, it's an ongoing thing, not merely my picking up a single instance of blatant Biblical illiteracy and running with it, and rubbing your collective noses in it forevermore.
I've also seen people deride the very Biblical description of Jesus Christ as the Second Adam, calling it some crazy Protestant idea. That was Judith Anne, too, but there are others who have implied as much. I've also been told I'll be judged by the pope when I die. All here on FR. On the whole, your group really does not exhibit that much evidence of Biblical literacy, and that is a travesty. Rather than launch a sectarian counterattack as has apparently always been the case, perhaps you all should pull out your Bibles and verify for yourselves as the Bereans did.
You yourself are not a very frequent visitor here that I recall, word_warrior_bob. It's somewhat puzzling as to why you'd go dredging up a reply of mine from, what, several weeks ago, ping your own newfound gaggle of usual suspects to it and start piling on.
Slow night or something?

Infrequent poster does not mean infrequent visitor ;)
It was roughly a week old post I believe, not “several”, nonetheless I still thought I would point out the mischaracterization in your post. Perhaps helping you clarify the actual Catholic position for your edification as I’m sure you would not want to post anything misleading about your Catholic friends here and possibly lose any credibility with anyone. I’m sure it was just an honest mistake :)
As I mentioned I was reading that thread and knew that the more nefarious anti-Catholics on this board would eventually take that one person’s opinion and use it to try and badmouth Catholics and try and present the untruthful insinuation that that was what Catholics thought of Paul.
Sorry you got your hand caught in the cookie jar.
I pinged ONE person, how that qualifies as a “newfound gaggle of usual suspects” is beyond me and the accusation of “piling on” is puzzling as well. As you can see the only person I pinged was the singular Catholic who had issue with Paul(who you didn’t ping)which she has subsequently explained.
Thin skin or something?

Both tose statements are false, and now I have lost all respect for you due to your lack of integrity. I see no reason for ANY Catholic to ever try to have an honest conversation with someone who is known to spread falsehoods so lavishly,
Maybe you might run a lead in to your posts.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
