I was attacked by a Protestant girl when I was in 6th grade. 1963. We were waiting for a cab to take us to church school and a classmate came up to us and yelled that we thought we were better than everyone else. We were in shock because we’d never been taught that. It was many years later that I realized how many kids had been taught to hate Catholics. What Christians really need to be railing against is left versus right instead of denominations. The Church is not the enemy. Leftists invade all denominations. They are the enemy.
When I was little, I thought everyone was Catholic and all the churches were Catholic. I didn’t know there was anything other than a Catholic Christian, so when kids said they were Christian I thought nothing of it.
Those here who post over and over and over the same tired are not everyday protestants. That’s something I have finally learned.
There is no quarter here for Catholics especially since the raison detre for many here is anti Catholicism.
